Job Duties:
- Drive crew productivity, morale, and ongoing performance improvement across assigned field technician teams
- Track 90-day training programs for new hires
- Champion safety: FLHA quality, monthly technician field inspections, incident investigation support, and ongoing safety training
- Monitor technician adherence to vehicle/tool management practices and DVIR reporting
- Conduct field visits and photo reviews to ensure work quality meets client specifications
- Facilitate material securement, ensuring adequate stocks of client- and WPT-supplied materials
- Review project intake, capacity, and key execution requirements
- Maintain program trackers: daily project progress, weekly forecasts, and schedule risk monitoring
- Develop ongoing work-ready plans for technicians
- Submit and track road use permits and other project approvals
- Review BOMs and coordinate material requests and staged pick-ups
- Submit as-builts and turnover packages; maintain document control and organized project files
- Track QA-identified deficiencies and schedule remediation
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for routine tasks
- Conduct weekly meetings with client construction and operations teams; maintain daily contact with client superintendents and PM personnel
- Understand and manage to client expectations across productivity, quality, safety, and cost
- Prepare and submit all project deliverables and ensure timesheet accuracy
- Perform other duties as requested

WP Telectronics has projects across Canada. This role requires willingness to travel up to 100% of scheduled work time, including overnight stays.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- 5+ years of telecommunications construction experience (required)
- 5+ years of project management experience (asset)
- Fluent English (required)
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (Class G) (required)
- Comfortable working at heights (up to 60m)
- Comfortable working in confined spaces
- Clean criminal record check (no convictions for which a pardon has not been received)
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of scheduled work time, including overnight stays
